Then you need Howling Dog Studios. At HDS we are committed to helping you achieve your dreams , however big or small they are. We are looking for singers , songwriters or bands who want to present themselves for consideration by major labels and independent producers. HDS can provide you with a complete production package that includes arranging, preproduction, nationally recognized studio players and a cd that is mastered to industry standards. Industry pros know what is up to standards and they won't spend a second on material that is not up to industry standards ,so why risk your future . Publishing and affiliate record labels are available to those that meet the challenge. Howling Dog Studios is located on Florida's west coast situated 35 miles south of Tampa and 12 miles North of Sarasota just outside the City of Palmetto. We offer the type of tranquil country setting seldom found in a state of the art recording studio.
A Pro Tools HD 3 Accel system is the heart of the record technologies used at the studio, The system is powered by a 8 core Intel Mac Pro with 12 gigs of ram and over 3 terrabytes of internal & external hard drives. All sessions are continually backed up for preservation of the valuable information being recorded.
The studio consists of a free standing 1200 sq facility divided into a live recording room, isolated vocal / amp room , control room with client viewing area and a kitchen/bathroom. An adjacent 4 bedroom home built in 1913 is also on the site. Other amenities for client recreation include 4 wheelers, pool facilities, and other outdoor activities.
Our client list includes both local and national performers , be sure to check out our client page for song samples and the ability to purchase selected cd's and merchandise through our shopping cart.
Our staff includes 2 Berklee College of Music educated producers/engineers, a Full Sail educated engineer and a Grammy Award winning consulting Producer along with a full complement of high quality studio musicians.
Vintage guitars and amps are available for client use in sessions also. Be sure to review our equipment and software lists for a complete list of components used to produce your next hit record.
Howling Dog Studios in also affiliated with several national & independent labels and can provide a conduit for national distribution of your songs.
